Living Faith in Cork

Living Faith in Cork

Ardfallen Methodist Church, Douglas Road, Cork      12.30pm - 4.30pm

I would like to invite you to the Living Faith  Conference 2012 in Cork on the 14th January. It is going to be an inspiring and challenging day all about God, money and you. Don’t miss out.

Living Faith is a joint initiative of Irish Bible Institute, Tearfund Ireland, Lausanne Ireland and Irish Mission Agency Partnership.

Money: the root of evil?

One of the most difficult questions facing Christians today is; what is a right attitude toward money. Ireland has been through an economic rollercoaster over the past 30 years, from poverty to wealth and back again, and we have been left disillusioned and divided. As Irish Christians we need to ask ourselves; were we complicit?, were our attitudes and behavior any different from those of our neighbours?, and what should our response to the recession be?

Book today and get the early bird discount of only €25!

Dr Craig Blomberg asks what the Bible has to say about these issues. Avoiding easy answers, he instead seeks a comprehensive biblical theology of possessions.

Why go?

·         Be inspired and challenged by Dr Craig Blomberg about a biblical attitude towards possessions and your own walk with God

·         Build relationships with other Irish Christians over lunch and share your stories and experiences

·         Access resources and toolkits to help engage your church in mission

Who is it for?

All Christians passionate about seeing God transform Irish society starting with them – whether church leader, stay at home mother, or business person.

About Living Faith Conference

The Living Faith Conference vision is to inspire and equip Irish Christians for mission in their community and around the world – both in proclamation and demonstration.

It is founded on the Bible and draws its inspiration from the Lausanne Covenant. This is the 3rd annual conference. Last year’s conference (Urban Nation) brought together more than 150 leaders from across Ireland. It is hosted jointly by Irish Bible Institute, Tearfund Ireland, Lausanne Ireland (a ministry of Evangelical Alliance Ireland) and Irish Mission Agency Partnership.
